12th Cranial Nerve Paralysis – Hypoglossal Nerve Paralysis

Etiology:

Hypoglossal nerve lesion.

Manifestation: 

Results in atrophy and fasiculations of the involved half of the tongue with deviation toward the paralyzed side.
