Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF)
A congenital heart defect which is classically understood to involve four anatomical abnormalities (although only three of them are always present).
characterized by four symptoms:
- pulmonary stenosis
- ventricular septal defect
- malposition of the aorta over both ventricles
- hypertrophy of the right ventricle
Treatment and Management:
Surgical repair of cardiac defects.
