Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF)

A congenital heart defect which is classically understood to involve four anatomical abnormalities (although only three of them are always present).

characterized by four symptoms:

  1. pulmonary stenosis
  2. ventricular septal defect
  3. malposition of the aorta over both ventricles
  4. hypertrophy of the right ventricle

Treatment and Management:

Surgical repair of cardiac defects.
