Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG)

a surgical procedure in which a healthy blood vessel is transplanted from another part of the body (usually the leg) into the heart to replace or bypass a diseased (atherosclerotic) portion of vessel to re-establish adequate oxygen and nutrient supply to the heart.
